Natacha Seweryn

I am a film programmer and researcher.

I currently serve as Head of Programming at the Bordeaux International Independent Film Festival (FIFIB), where I also oversee two residencies dedicated to the development of film projects: Le Clos and L’Atelier du FIFIB. I am also a fiction consultant for the International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights (FIFDH) in Geneva. I previously worked for the Premiers Plans Festival in Angers, Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival, the Cinémathèque de Tanger, and Hors Pistes at the Centre Pompidou.

Alongside this work, I hold a part-time teaching and research position in Film Studies (ATER) at Paris 8 University, having previously taught at Bordeaux Montaigne University from 2022 to 2025. My research focuses on the history and practices of film festival programming. In 2023, I co-founded the Francophone Research Network on Film Festivals (2R3F).

I have also completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training course with Cyril Moreau, certified by Yoga Alliance. I teach yoga as part of residencies and at festivals.
